So you make a game yourself, namely like this: Klaus cuts two square pieces 13X13 cm from black paper, one of which is glued to the pre-cut cardboard. On the back of the other sheet he draws in pencil, 2,5 cm away from the tape, a square 8X8 cm and divides it into 1 cm wide spaces. It cuts neatly along these lines, so that a braided leaf results. Wolfgang has now made of white paper 8 Stripes each 10 cm long and also 1 cm wide cut, which he weaves into the black sheet. That of me 32 white and black fields is glued and pressed onto the pre-cut cardboard as a playing surface, until it's dry. Klaus tinkers the box part. Is glued 4 Cover together, he also sticks reference paper to the surfaces to be painted, like the face of the slider, To each of which a wooden bead is sewn. Finally, the whole piece of the box is glued between the two pieces of cardboard and weighted down a little to dry. – The boys saw the checkers at regular intervals from one 5 until 10 mm thick lantern stick and smooth the saw surfaces with sandpaper. 12 They color small stones with black ink or paint and then also apply colorless varnish, as with the white stones. – It did take a bit of work – but the joy in the successful work is now doubled.
